Two models of Evercade Alpha will be available from November 2024, each containing six games from Japanese publisher Capcom, and both are fully compatible with the complete Evercade ecosystem of 50+ cartridges and more than 500+ officially licensed games.

The Evercade Alpha Street Fighter™ Bartop Arcade includes six titles from the legendary Street Fighter series by Capcom, including Street Fighter II™‘ Champion Edition, Super Street Fighter™ II Turbo, Street Fighter™ Alpha: Warriors’ Dreams, Street Fighter Alpha™ 2, Street Fighter Alpha™ 3 and Super Puzzle Fighter™ II Turbo.
he Evercade Alpha Mega Man Bartop Arcade features an eclectic mix of Capcom classics, including Mega Man™: The Power Battle, Mega Man™ 2: The Power Fighters, Final Fight™, Knights of the Round™, Carrier Air Wing™ and Strider™.
Both units also have two Evercade cartridge slots, allowing you to expand your Evercade Alpha experience with the full library of 50+ cartridges and 500+ arcade, console and home computer games from the Evercade catalogue. No DIY, downloads or complicated setup required!
TECH SPECS
At 410mm x 244mm x 316 mm, Evercade Alpha strikes a balance between authentic arcade aesthetics, comfortable functionality and practicality in modern living spaces. The unit is pre-assembled and includes a USB-C power cable and plug, meaning all you need to do to start enjoying arcade action is take it out of the box, plug it in and play!
Evercade Alpha features a high-resolution 8″ IPS display with a 4:3 aspect ratio, meaning arcade, console and home computer games from the Evercade library all look great. Sound is provided by built-in stereo speakers, or if you prefer to game in private, a headphone jack allows you to fully immerse yourself in the experience or play without disturbing those around you.
Both systems feature competition-grade arcade controls, with an 8-directional joystick, six large action buttons and three additional buttons for adding credits, starting games and accessing the Evercade menu.
The units also have two USB ports for connecting Evercade-compatible controllers, allowing you to play multiplayer titles by connecting two controllers, or simply enjoy games designed with a traditional controller layout in mind. Evercade’s compatibility with a variety of third-party controllers mean that you can even connect suitable arcade sticks to enjoy two-player competitive or cooperative arcade action in those games that support it.
Evercade Alpha also has Wi-Fi connectivity for firmware updates and access to Evercade’s digital features, such as our annual Game of the Month programme showcasing “modern retro” titles from today’s indie developers, the Library feature that lets you browse the complete lineup of current and upcoming Evercade cartridges and games, and occasional additions to the secret hidden built-in bonus games.
THE AUTHENTIC TOUCH
Besides the high-resolution 8″ IPS display and the competition-grade arcade controls, Evercade Alpha features authentic cabinet, bezel and control panel art, true to the full-size arcade units on which the two models are based.
On top of that, both units feature a light-up marquee with swappable artwork. Each Evercade Alpha comes with three pieces of marquee artwork that you can swap whenever you like — no tools required. This allows you to customise your Evercade Alpha to match your favourite games from the built-in lineup — or just swap according to your mood!

Evercade Alpha has two Evercade cartridge slots, allowing you access to 50+ cartridges and more than 500 officially licensed games. You can enjoy the full lineup of Evercade games on Evercade Alpha, including a variety of officially licensed arcade games in their original format on cartridges with a purple spine, titles originally released on home console on cartridges with a red spine, and home computer classics on cartridges with a blue spine.
Evercade games can be enjoyed using either the built-in competition-grade arcade controls, or by connecting an Evercade-compatible USB controller to one of the Evercade Alpha USB ports. Compatibility with the full Evercade library means that it’s easy to expand the capabilities of the Evercade Alpha — no complicated hacking, modding or configuration required. Just plug and play like the good old days!
GO DELUXE
Evercade Alpha comes with competition-grade arcade controls as standard, but superfans can level up their experience with Deluxe Editions of both Evercade Alpha units.
Deluxe Edition Evercade Alpha units feature top-quality Sanwa arcade controls pre-built into the unit, no tools or modifications required, and also ship with an exclusive Evercade Alpha-branded USB controller. This controller is only available as part of an Evercade Alpha Deluxe Edition package.
The Deluxe Editions also come with additional marquee artwork, a certificate of authenticity and an exclusive poster. In total, the package features about £100 worth of additional value.
Evercade Alpha Deluxe Editions will be exclusively available via Funstock from June 4, 2024 for £249.99 / €289.99. Available from both the UK and EU websites, US & Canada orders of the Deluxe Edition arcades will ship from the US.
