„Dear Evercade Community,
As we approach the end of another remarkable year, I wanted to take a moment to express my gratitude to each and every one of you for your support and enthusiasm for Evercade. As the CEO of Blaze Entertainment, I look forward to each new release and this year has been truly exciting.
The year has flown by and began with us managing the fallout from last year’s stock theft. This was certainly the most challenging period of our company’s history, but the Blaze team focused on ensuring we could deliver as fast as possible and we were able to get Evercade EXP Limited edition units to some of our most valued customers despite the theft.
We committed to delivering more cartridges than ever before in a calendar year, each curated to bring you a diverse and rich gaming experience. These included Console collections, Home Computer collections and Arcade collections. My personal highlights included Tapeworm Disco Puzzle, California Games, Hellfire, Alien Breed Special Edition, Flashback, Journey to Silius, Full Void, Duke Nukem 1+2 Remastered and Goodboy Galaxy.
It was also a year of firsts. We changed the way we announced cartridges with showcases, we had a focus on new Indie content alongside traditional classic games and had our first solo game release on a cartridge with the amazing Full Void.
Another first was our most significant Evercade game development project so far with Duke Nukem 1+2 Remastered. This involved working with a talented team to rebuild both games from the ground up. The result has been widely praised and is a testament to the passion that went into the project.
Our commitment to delivering high-quality, nostalgic content remains at the forefront of everything we do. The positive response from the Evercade community has been truly humbling, and highlights the dedication that defines our community.
I would like to thank the Evercade community once again for your feedback, suggestions, and shared experiences that continue to shape the future of Evercade, and for that, we are immensely grateful.
We also saw the launch of our sister brand, HyperMegaTech!, with its first product, the Super Pocket Taito and Capcom Editions. This sees the expansion of the Evercade universe to other devices and opens up opportunities to bring new customers into our ecosystem.
As we bid farewell to 2023, rest assured, the Blaze team is hard at work to bring you even more exciting surprises and unforgettable gaming moments in the coming months.
On behalf of the entire Blaze Entertainment team, I extend my heartfelt thanks for making this year truly special. Wishing you and your loved ones a joyful holiday season and a prosperous New Year filled with endless adventures, both in the gaming realm and beyond.
Here’s to a fantastic 2024!
Best regards,
